The first album was shared by Dutch world champion Ada Kok, who visited South Africa in 1963.

    Peter Pirow was the father of Helena Pirow - both were South African breaststroke champions from the Transvaal. Helena graduated from Roedene in Johannesburg in 1984 before taking a scholarship to swim at the University of Houston. She won Springbok colours in 1983.

Peter and Helena Pirow

Peter Pirow was the father of Helena Pirow - both were South African breaststroke champions from the Transvaal. Helena graduated from Roedene in Johannesburg in 1984 before taking a scholarship to swim at the University of Houston.
