Manta Swimming Club
The club was formed by Drexler Kyzer, Trevor Heinrich & Trevor Sassman in 1972. The club produced many national swimming and lifesaving champions (sic).
Since swimming is a sporting code which is enjoyed by all, irrespective of age or ability, Manta has always been a family-orientated club. The black-and-yellow clad Manta Rays can be seen at the Western Province Aquatics and some Swimming South Africa-sanctioned events in and around Cape Town and the rest of the country. In it’s 4 decades of existence, the club has been represented at swimming, water polo and synchronised swimming, coaching and administration at provincial and national level.
